Implementation
01
Pre-implementation
Prior to bringing the design to life, the local communities in the region will be consulted. The implementation's location will be near the community to safeguard them from potential threats, based on their input depending on where the bushfires may propose a higher threat. The locals will also be trained to construct and install FireOut. They will be taught to operate the system creating employment opportunities within the community.
02
Phase 1
Phase 1, known as the trial phase, comprises one main station with the camera sensor and 7 substations. The main station is located 20km away from the substations so that bushfires are detected in early stages. The system will be closely monitored for a span of one year to gather data for further analysis. Any issues faced in Phase 1 will be resolved in the most efficient manner. However, in the event of insufficient data gathered to formulate conclusions, Phase 1 will extend for the next year or until enough data is obtained from the system.
03
Phase 2
Following Phase 1, the second phase includes implementing the improved system obtained from the results of the previous phase. This phase intends to include more towers covering a larger area providing better safety to the community. In phase, advice from locals will be considered before implementing the design.
